Dude, how is that? I heard some samples and it seems pretty decent.

I like it pretty well. I haven't heard Spiritu's first one, but I'd like to find it after hearing this. Their half pretty much rules. Village of Dead Roads isn't quite as strong, but still solid. They have kind of a weird approach. Just when you think you're getting some YOB-style doom they tend to stretch things out in an Isis-like direction. It makes it interesting, if not totally convincing. The last two songs are a little heavier and doomier.

No, seriously, it's one of the all-time great metal albums, and stands with ANYTHING from the '80s. I don't know how or why Riot was able to craft such a perfect album, but they sure caught lightning in a bottle with that one.
