Iced Earth is really what got me back into metal, and looking for non-mainstream stuff. I got to see them live in Austin (Matt's final live performance as it turns out).
I'm happy that he has found something he wants to do with his life. As I understandit he never wanted to be a rockstar singer person. I hope he finds happiness inhis new profession.
btw... it is almost certain that Ripper Owens will sing on the new album although Jon has commented that the singer they have cutting the vocals isn't signed on for touring, and he may end up only a guest artist for the album. But yeah they have kept it all hush hush, and with hlaford going back to JP, the rumors are just too much. Should be interesting though.
