Just worked on this a little bit. I'm totally new here, but have been learning a lot by reading up on here. So be nice....but not too nice....I still wanna learn!

This actually sounds really good! Besides the usual kind of "plasticness" of the Slate kicks, I don't really hear anything wrong with it.

Thanks for your thoughts guys. It's odd. I'm torn about vocal levels. Because when I started listening to the TDWP album (...branches below) I thought to myself..I really like that the vox are a little louder, because that's where I'd usually put them. Then I found this place and everyone (including Joey) was saying how the screamer was 'too loud'....So I dunno...I like where the vox sit now...but I like making people happy. Maybe when the song is finished I'll try lowering the vox a bit.

Anyone have anything else?

Thanks a lot Revelation. I used the Cali plate from Pod Farm and Radio Rock Kit or something like that...haha and took the crash from the cracky metal kit I think. Also used some east west and vangaurd for synths.


Oh yeah..and a fair amount of post eq/compression on each....then squashed to hell and back with ozone a few times..haha

Nice. I actually run the same pod and slate settings. I like that the vocals are louder since tdwp cd too.
