mine personally is Opeth's Lamentations... Death Live in L.A. comes close in at second. I really wanna see the Dark Tranquillity one.

what's your favs?

I can't settle on a single favorite, all these are extremely fun and entertaining to watch

Emperial Live Ceremony (Excellent Stuff)
Death - Live in LA (Raw, but still godly)
Dream Theater - Live Scenes from New York (ACoS LIVE!!! YES!!!!)
Opeth - Lamentations (OH YES!!! right on spot)
Dimmu Borgir - World Misanthropy - (This is possibly the most entertaining DVD I've ever seen... its mostly comprised of odd live shots and home footage. So Warrel and Van make appearances, as well as many other underground personalities drunk as fuck was pretty amusing)

Pantera's dvd. It has all 3 of their home videos in one dvd.

I love it when they chase Yngwie Malmsteen with a donut.

Also that part with the truck that burns out and goes full speed ahead right into a garage.

Emperor - Emperial Live Ceremony
Death - Live in LA
Opeth - Lamentations
Yngwie Malmsteen - Live at Budokan 1994 (was a japanese release dvd)

those are the only ones i bother watching, really.

i just got the G3 DVD, but i havent watched it yet

My favs in no real order are :

Fates warning the view from here

Candlemass the documents of doom

Opeth lamentations ( strictly for the studio footage )

The first Dream Theater live dvd ( forgot the name, think it was from japan on the images and words tour )

Soltiude Aeturnus: the Solitude Aeturnus home video ( soooo great and so funny )

Skid Row oh say can you scream ( the chair stuck in the wall at the hotel scene rules )

Iron Maiden: making the number of the beast

I am sure there are more but thats enough for now.

i've only seen the opeth and my dying bride dvds, but both rule!
this is a good thread, because i have been wondering what music dvds are worth buying
i'll probably get the emperor one

I was at the Opeth Gig when they recorded it!

I got to hear a few more songs aswell taht weren't on it!

Mwuhahahahahah Im so lucky

Sepultura - Chaos DVD is fucking brutal too!

Weird, I'm listening to Pantera right now, and that's pretty rare. Cowboys From Hell (the only Pantera worth listening to) kicks ass, though.

I really need to get that. I have the CD, and I bow before it, as should all mere mortals.
I"m telling you man..Pantera's first album "Metal Magic" ownz teh Cowposers from Hell...hahahaha..glam metal at its finest...
