I always picture the 17th century/early 18. The Baroque era...it just makes me think of the dark side of that era....MAYH, I picture the story taking place irrelevant of time, as I picture an isolated foresty location. The Still Life story seems to me to be in the medieval times, just by the images the lyrics bring to mind. BWP seems like the depths of modern depression....

After I answered this originally, I thought about BWP and realized that the feeling I get really only applied to Orchid, Morningrise and Still Life definitely. MAYH and BWP are a bit different.

It all seems pretty timeless to me.....but definitely set somewhere in europe a while back in WOODS and stuff.
Most european metal has that effect on me.....YAY EUROPE!!!
