Still Life was not hard for me to order at all.

Still, it must be said that Peaceville did a much better job with Still Life, in quality terms, than Candlelight did with the first 3 albums (especially the first 2, MAYH escaped most of the problems).

I mean, Candlelight's the same label that released those typo-fraught booklets and awful rehearsal tracks on Orchid and Morningrise. I do not see why so many people have voted for them, at all. I may not know much about music labels, but going by their past records, I can't see the appeal of Candlelight at all.

I think Opeth will probably sign with a bigger label, and one not necessarily all metal. Maybe Elektra or Capital. Roadrunner seems more likely than those listed. I can't see them going to a smaller label than before.

While I definitly don't hold Opeth's latest releases in as high regard as their early work, I respect that they have never lost their artistic integrity. Signing to NB would shred that integrity almost instantly.

The majority of the votes here are influenced by the image of the label and not by what will be the best label for Opeth and their career...
I agree.I think Opeth could really benefit from signing to Earache or Relapse.Thier bands are always availble for worldwide tours with other good bands.Plus there cd and vinyl releases are always well packaged and good quality.

Opeth would get treated like royalty on either label.
