Which Mix and Master sounds better? And how do they sound?

I've been playing around with Apprehension by Dweller (thanks Scott for the DI's), and don't know exactly which of these two mixes and masters would people like, so I want you guys to tell me which you think is better.

The newer one is less ear piercing but also less focused. Why do the kicks sound so weird? They almost sound like they have reverb on them.

Yeah, I've noticed they have reverb on it.
