which neck pickup?

Hello guys I have a Jackson Kelly Ke-2 with seymour duncan 59' (neck) and Jb on bridge.
I'm totally in love the JB but I'm not satisfied with the 59', I want a neck sound like Chris amott, think about "silent wars" or "mechanic god creation".

Here's a solo that I recorded a few days ago:

If you listened to it you will realise that the picking section tone is not like the solos that I'm mentioning above.

So I need your advice for a new neck pickup! Thanks!!!!!!

It looks like Chris Amott uses Hot Rails. The stacked hot rails I've tried sound pretty good in a strat. I personally still like the 59 better though.

Yeah, it's a matter of taste I think, Chris does use the hotrails, the only issue is that I need a full size hum

Hot Rails are very fat pickups. You could try an Air Norton if you want something closer in full sized humbucker form.

There is no neck specific version of the JB, but it will do quite well there.

Actually, this. I pulled the JB out of my Jackson a while ago because I didn't like it in the bridge as much as other pickups. Recently tried it in the neck position because I tried somebody else's guitar that had the JB in the neck and it sounded awesome there. Put my JB in the neck and it sounded cool too.

I would say EMG60A but you have passives. Hot Rails are cool, but have you considered the DiMarzio Liquifier as well?

I had some issues in the past with Dimarzio, so I prefer to stay away from that brand. I have a SD screaming demon laying around, maybe I'll give it a try
