You love Obituary huh? I just never could really get into them all that much. Now Pestilence on the other hand slay hard as fuck.

I would have to go "mid-era" based on what I know, but there were a few of their albums I never heard.

Obituary is one of the best metal bands to ever exist. Their riffs just fucking crush your skull all over the place. That and the band has only produced one bad album in Xecutioner's Return

Slowly We Rot and Cause of Death are absoloute death metal classics, easily the best Obituary material. Mid-era is great too, but it can't stand up to the first two albums.
