Slayer's new One, Metallica, or Megadeth? That is, judging from any audio samples you may have heard, or their previous albums released.

Megadeth. Obviously.

Agreed. The System Has Failed was by no means a masterpiece but atleast it was still a decent thrash album which is more than Metallica or Slayer have released in the last decade.

Probably best to forget about these bands for now. By now they're all more concerned with supporting their families with high-selling music than any kind of artistic integrity

going by comparing The System Has Failed, God Hates Us All, and St. Anger... I'm going to have to say Megadeth by one of the largest landslides you've ever seen in your life

Totally agree.
While the system has failed wasnt incredibily awesome, it does sound as though its on the right track.

Back in the day is a kick as song.

The day when Metallica makes a REAL come back would be a great moment in history, but it looks less and less likely to happen. :waah:

Someone needs to kick James off the wagon and set fire to Lars' rubbish art collection. That might do the trick.

Megadeth by a long shot but I am interested to hear if Rick Rubin can save Metallica like he has done for other people. Shit, if he can save them from making another shit album, he can save anyone!!!

Unfortunately, I think there might be some truth to this, their families and stuff.

I'm hoping Metallica will blow our minds with something great, but that probably isn't going to happen. I heard one of the new Slayer songs "Jihad," and thought it was pretty good actually, so I think their new one is going to be at least decent. I'm not really sure what Megadeth will release though; probably nothing too interesting (like the System Has Failed), but good none-the-less.

All of the bands' old material is great, but I always seem to get far less interested in a very old band's new music. I'm kind of excited for Maiden's new one though.
