So I got to thank and blame WU for this one. Last year at the recording of Alive 2 I had a shot of Makers Mark while chatting with Belladonna and Bello ( I think Scott has it on his rider) and that is some good shit. So good in fact that is now my Whiskey of choice. A little above average in price but fairly smooth and a good after taste. I also discoverd a whiskey called Ballintines. A little smother but rough on the gut the next day. Then we got the single malt scotch's like Glen Livet, FUCKIN GREAT!.. So my fellow net nerds, any recomendations on other whiskeys or scotch?
On a side note for you vodka drinkers check out Svedka. A fairly inexpensive brand. Not as good as Grey Goose or Kettle One but certainly better then that
shit they serve called Absolute.

Check out the Irish stuff man.
Jameson 12yr old Irish. That's the shit.
Bushmills, 10yr old is also really good.
Most Irish whisky has a sweeter, less smokey taste than the Scottish stuff because of the way it is malted.

Just like a fat chick...

I'm inspired. I'm gunna have a drink of whisky tonight.

Except only you North American's call it scotch. It's called whisky, dammit! :p

Glenfiddich is good, Jamiesons is also very impressive. Bell's is probably my favourite, a wonderful aroma and great with any mixer...but, of course, best on its own with ice :)

Irish Whiskey isn't real whiskey, just like Dutch vodka. :D
Check out some real whiskey like Bruichladich that'll put some hair on your balls. (although i like both BUSHmills and Jimisons)

Black Bush is a good Irish whiskey
Johnnie Walker Blue Label is a good high end scotch that costs a pretty penny but is delicious:dopey:
McClellands Speyside is a good moderately priced scotch

It depends where its from! Scottish made whiskey is Scotch, Irish made whiskey is .... irish whiskey and American made whiskey is methelated spirits.:Spin:

Dont ask about Australia....., just dont.

And I recommend two 'pop' brands o' whiskey: teachers (a scotch) and j.Walker black label. they were responisble for me not remebering dec 31st, jan 1st ,2nd , 3rd and yesterday.

Svedka is good...not great, but a good value. Kettle One is my favorite...it's not worth the extra bucks for Grey Goose or Chopin.

My favorite single malt Scotch is the Macallan...even the lowest priced bottle which is aged 10 years is superior to anything I've had before. I can only imagine how good the 18 year is...but too pricey for me.

I love any Jameson as far as Irish Whiskey...the 12 year special or even just the old standard....delish!...especially when sipped with a creamy tap poured pint of Guinness. Almost like a meal!:Spin:

I cant talk too much because I rarely drink anymore, and I have never had scotch. However, I know some cocktails that are awesome. Maybe ya'll will try 'em?
Jungle Fuck: 1 shot kahlua (spelling?) and one shot of Baileys Irish Creme
Blue Demon: 1 shot blue tequila, 2 shots everclear (knock ya on yer hide)
Black Tooth Grin: If you dont know whats in it, you are not metal.
Sonic Boom: Cherry Limeade with lots of vodka

there are tons others that I either just mix and match (southern comfort and Mt. Dew) or just plain drink what is available (Jack and Pepsi anyone???).

If i had to give any reccomendations, Southern Comfort is a sweet sipping whiskey, and Captain Morgan's Tattoo is really good too.

That's a crazy thing to say.
Some of the first evedence of Whiskey in Scotland is that it was brought there from Ireland. Evedence of Whiskey in Ireland dates back to the 6th century.
