Whitechapel tone! with a mesa dual rec!?!

do any of you think i could possibly get a whitechapel tone like in the song
somatically incorrect with my dual rectifier?
any helpful tips or ideas?

Probably not, Their sound I think is mostly peavey 6505/5150. I might be wrong though. Mesa Boogie Rectifiers can sound pretty heavy though. Give it a shot and see what happens.

Live they play 5150 III's. In my experience recto's sound a lot muddier that 5150's. Perhaps on the orange channel with a good boost you could get somewhere close, although Mesa's have some low mids you never seem to get rid of without post eq'ing them. Perhaps an eq in the loop would do the trick though...
