Who are the best German thrashers?

KREATOR is super tight. I love basically every album IMHO they did a GREAT job on their "goth" works too, they showed how one band can progress into lots of styles while never changing attitude. And well, having CORONER's Vetterli on those two, that was badass...my fave from KREATOR is CAUSE FOR CONFLICT anyway. A freaking blast with one of the most incredible drummers on earth, Joe Cangelosi.

Hands down.

Destruction for me. Then Sodom, Then Kreator. Sadly That is the only German thrash I have heard

For me it's Kreator and Sodom, they are two of my fav bands of metal and they deserve just as much credit for inspiring extreme metal as Slayer or anyone else. Destruction is my least favorite out of the three, the band's frontman is a good bassist, but his screeching annoys the fuck out of me.
