who do you REALLY want to see at progpower?

I got to a show to late, only caught the last song. I really love that band but from everything I have ever seen they look to be boring live. But then again Symphony X and Ciruc Maxiums put me to sleep. I need energy live like DC Cooper. Now that is a showmen.
Here's how I rate 'em:
CM 9.75/10
Symphony X 9.90/10
Fates Warning 9.5/10
Hail!:kickass::rock:

Maybe it was just seeing Symphony X to many times. Besides Allen does more for me than the band/ He vocals are amazing. The band is good but could easily get lost with every other power prog band out there without Russell. CM, well first time I saw them but nothing jumped out. Of course they are good obviously but there was nothing I saw that was memorible. As for Fates warning, well we go way back. Been a fan forever.
Sometimes I see bands I really like and they don't pull it off. I thought Blind Guardian was pretty bad at PP and the following show at Jaxx. This past NC show they were great. Then on the other hand bands I don't care for like Angra I thought kicked ass the year I saw them. The way they closed the fest will stick in my head forever as the coolest thing I have ever seen live. Glenn should get that on a DVD. I thought it was a pretty powerful moment. It sure beat watching the crowd walk out on Jorn's Whitesnake songs and the 'Star' performance. Which was a really cool idea I loved it. It just did not look to go over so well with a lot of the crowd. Not like what Angra did. That moment showed brotherhood in metal. Rambling

what the hell happened at this angra show you speak of?

They closed with a cover of Maiden's 'Number of the Beast'. Just hearing that whole theatre chanting along "666" I thought it was pretty powerful. It was certainnly a moment of unity. Atleast that is how I remember it. I'm sure someone in hear will ruin it for me though. But I did not see people walking out on it like last year when 'Star' was performed. Although thatb was a really, really cool idea one could tell that some of the singers did not now it well enough, nor did the audience. But they all knew Maiden

After a lot of listening and contemplation I would like to revise my list.

Although I am not to thrilled with the last two Silent Force CDs I would love to see DC and Alex back!!! The first two CDs are great.

I never liked Silent Forces anyway. Thought they were just a typical power metal band. DC was the only thing that set them apart, same with Royal Hunt. DC just needs some band like Tyketto or Lion to front and all would be good.

I am the total opposite, where as I find DC's other Power Metal band to be typical, Steel Seal.

I think Silent Force is leaps and bounds ahead of most of the newer Power Metal albums to come out this year.

Ah what the hell -- here's a few of my favorites:

Darkwater
Dragonland
Everwood
S.U.E (Spheric Universe Experience)
Lord of Mushrooms
Shadow Gallery
Symphony X
Seventh Wonder
Presto Ballet
Day Six
Dead Soultribe
DGM
Enchant
