You so funny. Wasn't he like in that popular band in the 70's?DarbysDad said:I thought of one more bass player:
Paul Mcartney's got nothing to do right.

He didn't pull it off. He used the snare instead of the double bass. I bought the soundboard recording from livemetallica.com. James screwed up the lyrics a couple times too. I guess they played it again a few days later.Pelvic Fury said:Cuatro was pretty good. Also, "High" had a great intro. Some other cool stuff as well, but nothing like the old shit. I'm telling you guys, Freaking Doomsday was an awesome albulm. I jizz everytime I hear "Iron Tears." That guy can get so high! Jason should have never left. Speaking of Jason, I heard Metallica played "Dyers Eve" at a recent show. I know Jason is'nt in the band anymore, but association has damned me. Hows about that, Dyers Freaking Eve! I bet you they just popped the CD on over the PA and played along! No chance in hell Lars can pull that off.

It's there, but it is so faint it's not worth listening. You can here it better if oyu have a vinyl copy instead of a CD. "To live is to Die" and "Shortest Straw" are probably the only songs on that CD that I can hear the bass, and aven then it is very, very faint. It's funny to look at the transcriptions for Jason's parts to that CD, because your looking at the music on the paper and it is NUTS! But then you listen to the music with your ears and you say "where the fucks the bass?"DarbysDad said:On And Justice for All, can any of you hear the bass? I don't think I ever have.
