Hey everyone, been lurking around here for a while, seems like a cool place. Anyway, I found these old interviews with Mike, they're pretty interesting (especially when one interviewer spends most of his time telling Mike what he didn't like about Morningrise. what a dick!). My favorite part is when mike says "Our music is a great tribute to the deep & mystic woods. We speak the words of the entity that hides in the trees!" I love ya Mike, but....whoa.

Mikael: (interrupts) I don’t give a fuck about her. I think she is some freeloading cunt and a bitch. She’s obviously taken advantage of her husband’s death and to be honest I think there are a lot of people who would do the same thing. She has not contributed anything to the music scene.

That's pretty hardcore. It's so strange to not hear Mike speak of Orchid and Morningrise in a past-tense sort of way. Good insight as to how he felt at the time (alot more bitter towards the scene, that's for sure). Thanks.

I really enjoyed those... so interesting to see things like when he was talking about making a half heavy/half mellow album all the way back then and to have it not turn up until recently.. I love stuff like that.
