It would cost them a shit load to play that stupid festival. Yeah sure some people say, oh well anathema played that festival for free one time. But seriously those guys havent got a whole team of proffessionals needing to be paid. what a pointless argument

very true. it would be stupid to play a show free for a promoter who is going to profit on them. yes opeth is making good money nowadays, but there's so many factors involved. think of who they have to pay, the tech crew, bus driver, merch people, the list goes on and on....
