Who writes better songs, Duncan or Mick?

I cant and wont decide about this one. Both are brilliant songwriters, and having to choose between these two would be like chosing between anathema and antimatter.

Well I can't really vote either, I like Dunc's song on Saviour best. But on Lights Out, Mick's are my favourites !

I agrre with this,im a huge fan of duncan since the Anathema era, being the ones from Alternative for my favorites, but mick´s on Lights out is also great, can i give a null vote?

yeah I agree with you all, of course they are both good, but most of the time I prefer Duncan's songs, I dont know if that means they are better, but they seem to grab me more and I also prefer his lyrics

I believe that Duncan can write the best lyrics, he has a unique and distinct way of writting songs. On the other hand Mick has the gift of singing those, that's why they make such a expeptional band

what about micks lyrics then? micks are telling stories. duncs are more about feelings. thats how i feel them. but to say that duncs' are better? thats unappropriate. weird like. madness.

my favourite songs of antimatter albums (if it comes down to choosing the sole survivor) are: the last laugh and in stone.

so... the choice is obvious.
