Honestly, I'm fucking stoked off my balls for this. As much as I wish that Bendeth produced it, I know Covallo does excellent work.

The other thing I'm stoked about is just how the album came about... the band almost broke up after the last album, and this album was basically written as a cathartic way of them working through the shit they had built up. If there's one thing I hold above all else in music, it's emotional honesty, so I think this one will have a ton of it. If the single 'Ignorance' is any indicator, this album will be darker and more mature than the last, but still catchy as all hell.




Also incredibly stoked on the new Brand New that drops a week before, and the Alice In Chains that drops the same day!

Looking forward to it in some respects. Not like majorly but I'm curious to check it out. I like the first single off it, sounds more mature than their previous stuff & less radio friendly. I don't consider that to be a good thing or a bad thing, just interesting to hear how their sound has developed.

Holy fuck, I preordered the Deluxe Edition Box Set nearly 2 months ago as soon as I found out it was available to order I was that excited. I know when my metalhead friends see the Paramore poster that comes with the box set my metal card will be revoked, but honestly, fuck 'em because I love this band to bits

I don't see how you can honestly make this comparison if you've actually given them a fair chance and listened to a song or two.

They write good songs and they ARE a rock band, I don't give two shits what you say because I bet you my first born's virginity (male or female, doesn't matter) that you cannot come up with a sensible definition of 'rock' that they wouldn't fit into.

I had honestly never heard them before going to their site just now.
Definitely a straight up pop band from what I've heard. This isn't a negative judgment but I am surprised that a band like that would get so much love in a metal forum.
