Why Does Alexi Spit?

I have been a COB fan for about 1 year now and I was wondering why Alexi spits before he does a solo, the chorus comes, etc. If anyone knows, that would be great if u could tell me! Thanks.

why does a man shit? you should ask yourself that too. For instance once food passes thourgh your digestive system it finally reaches a comfortable log form and it builds up and passes through youre large intestine and anus finally into the toilet. So most likely, when alexi is screaming his balls off, he builds up a lot of phlegm, so instead of drooling like a mother fucker and looking like a rabid dog, he spits it out, which would be logical.

Actually Kimberly Goss once answered this question. I don't remember the answer exactly that she gave, but it has to do something with his singing.

Well, why does it allways seem to be timed w/the music then? I suppose if he really needed to spit, he could do it any time during the song. What i mean is, is there any meaning to why he spits?

Actually Kimberly Goss once answered this question. I don't remember the answer exactly that she gave

"He's a heavy smoker so he has a lot of nasty phlegm, and he's very good at the hacking-spitting thing" is pretty much what she said in an interview a few year ago. Hope that helped.
I think it may well be a combination of the smoking, screaming and maybe his throat and lungs being the way they are....

what the fuck kind of question is this? he's just spitting, ist not like it helps his skill as a guitar player or anything...lol. i dont think there is a big mystery behind it, the fucker probably just likes to spit
