why does trigger change the sound of my samples?

hey all,

I just noticed that trigger does something to my samples.
I have a stereo snare sample for example.
trigger adds snap/attack to the sample, especially on the left channel and adjusts the sample's volume. I can't figure out why.

I put up two files. the first one is the original snare sample, one hit, and the second file is that very sample played in succession by trigger's engine.
I did nothing else to the sample except load it up in trigger and record triggers output to a stereo file (for the second file that is).

any ideas what causes this problem?

I get the same and was meaning to post about it. Weird.
A workaround I did was to split the stereo wav into 2 mono files and load them up in their own slots, panned hard left and right.

wich version do you have? I got the same problem after my update...come back to the previous version!

i'm using the most recent version, 1.65.
good idea. will try to revert back to an older version.
does anybody still have the installation files for the trigger platinum version that had the old GUI, the bigger one (windows)?
if so, would you share the installation files with me please?

just tried 1.64. works.
so this might be a bug in the 1.65 version?
