Why wasn't Derelict Herds included on the main tracklist?

I think it's a decent track, but I had to stop myself from fast forwarding to see if anything interesting happened. It's kind of a middle ground between Heir Apparent and Hessian Peel, and both of those songs just did it better. The middle-eastern vibe is really cool, though. The two covers are really interesting though, and Mikael's Swedish singing is very, very beautiful. So, sorry Per.

If you've got an extra disc, it's always preferable to put extra tracks, covers, etc on the 2nd disc. The album should just be 'the album', so you can just pop it on and listen, without having to press stop at the right time if you want the 'album experience.' I much prefer it this way, like they did with the Blackwater Park re-issue.

Derelict Herds does not have the same standard as the rest of the Watershed songs.

I actually would've liked it better if the bonus tracks were put on the same disc as the album, as kind of like the "hidden tracks" type of thing some other bands do. In that way, it wouldn't spoil the mood of the album (unless you keep the disc playing on repeat and don't stop it). Have the 7 songs on the album, then some empty space, and then the 3 bonus tracks (if they all would fit).

But unfortunately I haven't heard it yet, because I haven't watched the DVD yet, and I don't have a good speaker system hooked up to the TV/DVD.

Per's organ solo on Burden is the best solo I've heard since, like, this accordion guy doing Flight of the Bumblebees super fast.

By the way, whoever's idea it was to have the harp gliss right after the intro of DH should be throttled.

It's entertaining, especially the verses bookending the heavy middle section. I like those parts, but overall it wasn't as good as the other tracks from this session.

I think that it's a very prog and opethish song, I really like it.
The drums have something very cool, also the riffs are cool.
I will see which time signatures does this song has.
