will they ever do this?

Why would you want them to waste their time on that? I'd rather have them creating new music instead of rehashing the Sanctuary stuff. And it's not like the albums were recorded bad either.

waste time????? dont tell me that you wouldnt want to hear the Nevermore guys playing Battle Angels, Future Tense, Die for my Sins, etc

id actually wanna hear that more than a NEW record

hey WD! wanna prove that you can still do the high end vocals to us??? on the next tour see if you can play Battle Angels and Veil of Disguise or some other sanctuary hehe... hell... go for some Serpent's Knight too hehe

as with any form of Art the whole point is capturing an idea at a single moment in time.

someone could obviously paint the Mona Lisa better today, but no one has bothered for obvious reasons.

Also a very good point...as I'd have those two albums no other way.

thats true.... the Sanctuary songs are still a part of Jim and Warrel, even tho Sanctuary is dead, and Nevermore is alive and well... so I don't see why they dont do at least one song and put it on a CD...

They played some Sanctuary songs on the DNB tour at a few shows. Every now and then they'll pull em out.

"so I don't see why they dont do at least one song and put it on a CD..."

They did all of the songs and put them on two cds.
:p

Actually if they'd redo a Sanctuary cd, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't rush out and buy it. Iced Earth did that with a lot of songs and I don't own a single song they redid. As was said earlier, a painting should only be painted once, and a song should only be recorded once (by the same band) with the exception of live recordings. But that's just my opinion.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they only change their name because of legal issues with their label. I'm pretty sure Loomis toured with Sanctuary at the very end. I may be wrong but I thought I saw this somewhere. If I'm right, then it is technically the same band.
