It doesn't have to be ghetto to be comfortable. It's just kind of annoying going into a mall and being completely surrounded by Nordstroms and Barneys and Saks, and other ridiculously high dollar designer boutiques. Everyone walking around looks like they think they're on a catwalk or something. I realize that it's good to be fashionable, but a lot of people, particularly in North Dallas, take that AND other forms of status WAY TOO FAG.

Yeah I agree- I was just being facetious.

I also hate the fact that Arlington and Dc area are losing the cool "alternative" scene to a upscale rediculous malls and hotels...
Give me a cool espresso bar with tones of posters on the walls and couches,
and a dark bar with good music, and I'm happy.
I hate chains, and I hate to lose all the neat little shops/ places to
big names / shitty malls

Fort Worth is about a 30 minute drive west of Dallas. Dallas, Fort Worth, and surrounding suburbs make up the great penis and balls that is the D/FW metroplex.
