Windows 7 Professional - worth it for XP mode?

Is the general consensus that the 400F runs fine in Win7 with the Vista drivers? I've been holding off on the Win7 upgrade myself because I was unsure of how the Mackie 400F would run without a specific Win7 driver.

It's been working for me for almost 2yrs in Win7 now without issue. Win8 driver spec will break that backward compatibility though.
