I can't understand people who MUST ask others when it comes to a band. Check their MySpace if you wanna hear 2 or 3 songs, or go on MetalStorm, see their most good-rated album if they have several, then buy or download it. Finding music on the net is probably the most simple thing ever, so can't you do it by yourselves !?

Their one album is good, especially Beyond the Dark Sun and Battle Against Time, but I'm a little concerned about peopling already hailing them as the saviors of melodic death metal. Give them another album or two before giving them any kind of title like that. I mean sheesh, even Sepultura and Cradle of Filth had ONE good album...

Wintersun are good in my book, but no means the most EPIC BAND EVAR as everyone here hails them. I mean it's ok the feel that way, but in my own opinion I have to be in the mood to listen to their slow, long songs. I mean there's killer riffs and really good parts but it's not shit I listen to everday. I'm not bashing them, I think they're a great band, just very overrated in my books. ANd besides, A LOT of band's first albums are fucking amazing then they don't follow through with anything the same, I mean they make really good songs but never an album containing so many greats (SEE: Sonata Arctica)

It seems like the songs on the next album will be even longer, that might not be a good thing
I don't think they are THE SAVIORS OF MELODIC DEATH METAL, but they do stand out well from many other bands, because they have more unique songs.
I'm just happy to see another good Melodic Death Metalish band cause there hasn't been many lately
