Hey guys...

today my BX5a's arrived and so I started to work on a mix for my own band. The BX5a's are a real eye-opener. Until today I mixed through two headphones and my stereo to have a few references - and after hearing the M-Audios for the first time I could've kicked myself for not buying them sooner. I hope I'm getting used to them quickly and I also do hope that my mixes will get better now.

Please let my know what you think ...

Wow, pretty good mix sounds good.

I had a pair of these a while back, but I didn't really like them. I came out with some horrible mixes for about 3 days so I returned them. I probably wasn't used to the sound of the speakers or hearing a 'true mix', but I just could not get anything good sounding out of them.

Nice job though.

Nice. I like the sound. I just had to return my bx5's because the amplifier in one of them was starting to distort really bad. Guitar centers Pro Coverage is a real pain in the ass. It is like a month long procedure. Overall they sounded good for the 199.00 price tag.
