What do you guys think of the production on this?
I think it's really similar to the new Memphis May Fire album.
The bass sounds like a flappy dick to me... idk.
THe song's good though. I dig the new lead singer. He was in a few local bands around in my area and I'd seen him play a few times before.

It's a chango production. I just don't see why so many bands go to Chango...
Because to the average listener, it sounds just like a Joey production.

Also, the new singer sounds good, but the transitions in the song are pretty shit, IMO. It sounds like I'm listening to various clips from an entire album, rather than just one song.

have you guys listened to Oh, Manhattan? That was the band he was in before. He had a different sound in that band. It just seems, that in comparison to the two, he's trying a little too hard to sound like Tyler Carter.

people still pay for music?
Well.. the song was pretty high on the itunes chart upon release, people seem to be more willing to buy singles than full albums. So I guess some do?

I read an interview after the song came out, the drummer seemed to have a lot to do with the way he sounded on the song. Though I think it has to do with the music too, I really doubt the way he sang in Oh, Manhattan would work in Woe.

it was released the day before yesterday... nowhere to be seen on the itunes top 200.

...record breaking popularity conversion.

i am sure people still buy music from itunes... but then again, that's more like renting music.

My bad. It was the rock chart, it hit number 3. Though I'm sure it fell fast.

I thought everyone on warped tour did that?

hey. let's not group everyone who's done warped in that category.

and with all the wonka candy and monster energy the try to feed you in the heat the whole tour, it's hard to think straight from day to day. haha so I might have to give them a free pass on this one.

but back on topic.
I know most engineers hate Cameron's work. but I think he's starting to get a lot better. he has a very particular style & taste. although I wouldn't mind he got rid of a great majority of all the random glitch effects every 5 seconds.
and although it can be argued that his style tastes like dick, the guy gets work.
so who's laughing in the end?

I like the new singer better. his approach is less predictable and variable.

This.

I don't see why people are so harsh on him? The material doesn't sound as bad as they say it is. The glitch thing is way overdone, I'll agree. However, he gets the work, the bands like the end product, and the fans buy/don't legally download the songs, so in the end, everyone is happy, minus the haters of the band. :hahamiddlefinger:
