Woo xmas time!

We've had our tree up for a couple of days and my whole house smells all piney and festive.

Anybody else relapsing into childhood and getting all giddy for the holidays?

I'm waking up early (quite a feat for me), getting presents, then getting plastered and playing with presents.

Dude shorts are a natural part of Australian life all times of year.


My folks are old people so it's usually about the baked lamb and turkey for us on xmas day instead of a kick ass BBQ and beating the heat in a snappy pair of shorts.

Though because my niece has to spend xmas day with her disease of a mother this year we're doing a BBQ for breakfast, whatever is easy to prepare and eat when sloshed for lunch and the baked lamb and turkey thing for dinner. Whether I'm still awake by that time will remain to be seen. :Spin:
