This time I've been trying WhereTaken for guessing which country a photo was taken in. I'm not very good at it but it's neat for brushing up on a bit of geography.

oh i missed that chronophoto link, i've been playing that on and off. it works like shit on my phone though which puts me off a bit

A friend's daughter programmed a variant called Wormle. Note you can click an earlier letter in your worm to backtrack.
Kinda neat, though a bit easy sometimes. I picked a direction in the current one and just avoided putting letters where they don't fit, solving it in the minimum number of moves. Not bad considering my Firefox is on the outdated ESR channel for whatever reason and my letters get partially obscured by blocks.

my brain seems well suited to this one for whatever reason. today's took me about 1 minute, some days i'm staring at them for a while but i've only got a guess wrong a couple of times. they're cleverly designed though, always some tempting red herrings.

Today's was the first one I failed, although the previous ones there was always one category I only got from process of elimination.
Got hung up on the dog red herring and didn't see the finger thing at all.

Today's connections was impossible for me, 3/4 categories were stuff I never heard of. Fun game but sometimes it depends on niche cultural knowledge that I don't have.
I get half the Pixar one (Up, Wall-E) but the other two I've never heard of.

connections has got way harder lately, i rarely get it without a wrong guess anymore and i've had a couple of fails. i feel like green/yellow are often on the level blue/purple used to be and then blue and especially purple are extremely difficult.
