Awesome World Cup everyone!

ps: USA folks, you better watch it because your squad have beaten Spain, which everyone consider the favourite.

Me and 17 friends do a competition, we bet 30 € each, so the winner wins a cup and money and the world cup is even more interesting.

We have 12 teams each and we sum points for match won, scorer...so on...

My 3 headliners are: Brazil, Germany & England...

I'm looking forward to a month full with football.....
As Jevil stated I would also put my money on Brazil, Germany or England.
Our national team has the quality to win, only not the mentality. We start to play cocky when we have won 2 or 3 games in the groupstage.

Brazil & England have the quality to win.
Germany always has the mentality to win.

You know, for an american is very complicated to understand these kind of world competitions. They are used to call themselves "Basket World Champions" or "Baseball World Champions" when they win a national competition :D

Yeah, Im never gonna get that, like World Series and stuff... world series? Its exactly the same teams inside America, just another tournament ... oO

Also, I support my country of origin, Portugal, but I dont think they have what it takes, I believe the team has quality to get into the final stages, but they wont because they're fucking assholes, the only player that is actually playing is Ronaldo and I hate him, so the team is pretty fucked up, gonna support them anyways but they wont go far.

I dont think brazil will win either, I'm thinking Germany or England

I have to go with Spain cause I'm of Spanish father, and they did win the Eurocup (which can't mean much cause I remember Greece winning it once and then not clasifying for the world cup next), and they really are a very good team, so yeah I'm gonna go with Spain.

Portugal has always had a good team but never good enough, and with Nani out chances get slim, that guy means a lot to the squad

My bets are on Brazil, followed by Argentina and Spain.

Kaká is always good, Julio Cesar is the best goalkeeper that we have in a long time but for me the main star is the center-foward Luís Fabiano. The guy is a monster and I think this world cup is going to be all about him.

Lots of good squads though, and football is far from "the best squad wins", what makes it so awesome. I would like to see Portugal, USA or any african country on the finals.
