Get real Guerrilla. To say that rap music made people self centered and gluttonous is ignorant beyond imagination. Man has always been that way. Way before rap music, there were wars fought in the name of gluttony and bigotry. It is in human nature to be that way. And if you are going to make a point about one's way of thinking being affected by music, then just look at brutal death metal, grindcore, black metal, pop, etc. Practically every genre of music can affect one's way of thinking.

Dude, rap does not affect people's thinking any more than any other type of music does. And a comparatively small amount is about the "bitches/cash money/platinum" bullshit; that's just the stuff in the mainstream. I know a lot of people who listen to underground hip-hop, and it's very political and aware...judging all rap by the MTV stuff is like judging all 80's metal by Poison and Winger. A lot of people who listen to rap are stupid, but they were stupid before they started.

You sound like one of those bass-ackwards semi-literate cavemen on Blabbermouth, talking about how black people are going to doom us all. Sure, they'll selfish; all humans are basically selfish. If the next generation of African-Americans are scum, so's the next generation of Anglos, and the next generation of Koreans, and the next generation of humanity in general.

Well rap's obviously not the only reason African Americans act the way they do... so what is it? All those years of slavery had an impact on the generation that was born out of slavery...? Are they trying to prove something to the rest of society? What? That they're rich? Man all they are is materialistic scum. Consumerism at its best. I'm not saying that rich white American people are better. It's just that modern African American culture is centered around wealth and personal well-being. Actually if we nuked the whole US, we'd get rid of all this and a lot more. Has everybody understood that I'm not talking about race!!!??? All I was trying to say is that cultures like the modern African American culture will be dealt with accordingly when la revolucion takes place.
