The hidden track is 'New Noise'.
I am glad to hear that added at the end. I do hate long gaps though before hidden tracks.

What is this world coming to remember the record store! I remember going to Tower Records the day a LP came out!

I miss those days too, lol, but I think they are long over forever. I remember when ...And Justice For All was all hyped at Sam Goodie with a beautiful Art Display at the Entrance counting down the days till it was officially released. I remember buying it when it first came out and rushed back home. Opening the plastic and just savoring that fresh new smell before putting the Cassette in the radio and just read the inner notes and stuff as the first song kicked in
Yeah, I never could understand why they do that. I split them up into 2 mp3's for my iPod. I wasn't going to download it at first, but since I already pre-ordered the 'splatter' vinyl and CD I said 'what the heck'.
Call me an idiot but how did you split it up for the ipod?

I used this free program called Wave Pad Sound Editor. Just open the mp3 in Wave Pad, delete the 2nd song and save as Rev Screams. Open the original file again and delete the 1st song and save as New Noise.

woohoo, did it! I am a little smarter today than I was yesterday.:Spin:
Back to enjoying the new music and spreading the word!
I would argue that Manowar would fit in that catagory (almost every Manowar song: "KILL WITH POW-AH!! DIE DIE!! METAL YEAH! POSERS NO! DEATH TO FALSE METAL-AH! SATAN AND ODIN AND KILL-AH!!!"), but they never really acheived that whole "success" thing.
(Don't get me wrong, I would consider Manowar a "guilty pleasure." But it's fun to pick on them.)
this album is not thrash metal. merely over-produced rock with over-the-top choruses. cheap songs, cheap riffs, and cheap thrills for the easily entertained rock fans. ....once again, not thrash metal. this from an old school 'thrax fan who would rather be listening to exodus.

I will agree with you on your main complaint. It is hard to be an old school fan and watch what has happened to this band. If they put this album out right after Among The Living they would have probably instantly been labeled sell outs and never heard from again. But they have abandoned their thrash metal sound so long ago that they have almost become a completely different band. This new CD is certainly not a full out thrash album and it definitely has the catchy pop choruses and what not. But there are still some thrash elements to it. If you can get past the fact that this isn't a thrash band anymore you might be able to dig the new CD a bit.
Bands like Testament continue to put out great thrash metal albums. There is a new Testament CD coming out in a few months and without a question you just know its going to be heavy thrash metal. You know Testament isn't going to be writing any rock n roll sounding songs anytime soon. You know Eric Peterson or Chuck Billy won't be doing any side projects with Fallout boy in the near future
With Anthrax you know you will probably never get another thrash metal album so you have to kind of either just not buy their shit or try to accept who they have become. At least with Joey on vocals it has some similarities to old school Thrax. I don't think Worship Music will ever be considered a 'classic anthrax album' but it's better than the previous 3 bushthrax albums thats for sure. And you can pretty much know their live shows will consist of mainly Joey era material. I really look forward to the Testament and Anthrax tour.
of course i didn't expect a Thrash record from Thrax in 2011 but heavier faster songs are hardly to be found on WM, i'm a bit disappointed after my first couple listens. i don't get all the praise for 'In The End' and 'The Devil You Know', those songs are not bad but definitely not worth the long wait imo. WM is rather a hard rock- than a metal-record and pretty generic for the most part. it's definitely better than their last couple of albums but it can't touch their classic records like STD or AMONG. i'm not sure if WM is good enough to re-establish them in the metal-scene after 15 years of continuous degradation of their status.
