I'm a Bush fan but am always amazed at how many people (including Scott and Charlie) talk like Joey doesn't pipes. He's a strong singer and I expected him to lay out good vocals.

Yeah, my only problem with Joey is when he doesn't bother to learn all the lyrics to a song he's performing on stage. Seriously, how difficult is it to learn Am I Evil? I never had doubts about his voice though.

Never thought I'd say this about an Anthrax tune, but I think I actually prefer the radio edit of TDYK.

But, who gives a crap about what other people think? That amazes me! Why can't people listen to the album and decide if they like it or not by their own taste?

And the comment that says that this sounds like audioslave and soundgarden, its a joke. Its gotta be. I don't know either of those bands well, but the only song on the album that sounds commercial and with a grunge feel, kinda like Stone Temple Pilots is Crawl.

The rest of the album, im my opinion is fresh, dynamic, more heavy metal and sometimes hard rock than thrash, but with some thrash moments. Overall, it sounds like Anthrax, which as you know were never a typical thrash metal band.

Good album, in my opinion, with the exception of crawl, and Joey is the star on this, hand down.

Good album, not a classic, very far from POT, but an honest work from Joey, but as usual, Joey is really the weak link in this group.

Anthrax is Scott, Charlie and Frank, put anyone with them, and the work is done. I think the work is done better with John, but it is only my opinion and a matter of taste.

It IS an official Anthrax record. Only cover bands are unofficial. End of discussion.

Led Zeppelin got away with it for many years and did an amazing job covering and improvising. Pretty much all 95% of Led Zeppelin 1 was never written by them

Did you know Charlie is friends with her? I've seen them in photos together a few times. So maybe that's possible.

Gaga is a metal fan - well documented. She digs Maiden big time. Still her music is shite but kudos to her for paying a lot of respect in interviews to bands like Maiden and also citing the incredible passion of metal fans.

I read an interview with Bruce Dickinson in a Norwegian newspaper a while back where he was paying respect to Gaga, so it goes both ways.

Am I the only one who is familiar with Refused? Not to sound full of myself, but I just assumed there would be quite a few folks on here that might be scratching their heads about the their cover of New Noise. I certainly did when I first saw a live video of them playing it with Dan Nelson. Talk about random.

I haven't heard it and not sure I want to.

I never thought he was a bad singer, I just didn't expect him to do a good job laying down tracks on a modern Thrax album they had already mostly completed beforehand. I was expecting a cash-grab performance just to get the album out.

Turns out I was wrong.
