Just read online at BM that the new record is due for an October release. Damn, and I was getting pumped thinking it was June which is only a couple of months away. Oh well, if the record is all the better for it then bring on October!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think Johnny Z works for Megaforce anymore - but yeah, it's being released on Megaforce - the same label that released Fistful Of Metal.:kickass:

You are correct sir. This is what Scott had to say about it when I emailed him, "No, Missi Callazzo bought it from Jonny years ago. They have nothing to do with it any more."

Megaforce in US

Nuclear Blast in Europe

Nuclear Blast via Riot / Aztec in Australia.

I'm told there may also be a DVD / Making of component to
accompany or follow the release of WM ... ... :headbang:

Scott just confirmed that Alex Ross is doing the album cover and it's looking SICK.... via Twitter.

The record will be released by good ole' Johnny Z. and Megaforce Records

Long story short. Johnny and Marsha have nothing at all to do with Megaforce If they did Anthrax would not be there. The new record is going to get the push that V8, and WCFYA did X2. The band had other major label offers, but by far this was the best. 2010 Record of the year is Mixing as I type this.

I take it from reading that, that the band and J+M Z do not see eye to eye. What happened back in the day to make them want nothing to do with each other???
