Worst Growler in Metal Music

No seriously he's pretty awesome, specially live

Are you kiding me!? Do you even understand how he gets such a voice... I just find it unbelievable.

He cups the mic, he doesn't have a loud voice at all. Not to say I don't like his lyrics or his voice, but he's not really a good vocalist at all, you know what I mean.

Not sure how Lord Worm or Benton are the worst growlers in DM, considering there's a lot worse (Chris Barnes from "The Bleeding" and onwards, for example.)

Atilla isn't even a death metal vocalist.

I actually dig Lord Worm quite a bit...an unusual style that really fit the music.

I can't stand the new guy's growls, though. His higher screams are awesome but the low registry is quite lacking.

Oh, and Chris Barnes post-Cannibal Corpse. I can dig the first CC albums, but listening to songs like Doomsday make me a sad panda.

Randy may not be the best but he's not the worst either, he's far from being the worst.

I gotta agree with winter's epilogue. I like chris barnes and lord worm. I can't stand John Tardy's vocals. The dude sounds like he's gonna blow out a kidney. And almost every deathcore and metalcore band...yeah, your vocals suck too.

Lamb of God kicks ass, yours especially.

To NicholasDWolfwood,
Maybe he's not one of the best vocalist but I haven't seen any others who growls the way he does. And he's great on a stage :D. I don't think he should be mentionned here, contrarly to many others.

+1

I saw Lamb of God live only because they played with Opeth, and they were really bad live. The guitarists were so sloppy, and even my buddy who's into them admitted they weren't good.

LoG are bad, period, but i'll admit not everything they've done is terrible

Dani Filth is a true creep. I read that he got drunk onstage on a festival in Slovenia last year and then when he was refused more booze he went on a rampage knocking over stuff onstage and all kinds of shit.

Worst well-known DM growler is easilly Chris Barnes. If poop had a voice, it would be his. The old CC albums kinda had their charm tho.

Retardation if I ever heard it.

Respect your elders.

You know how many people have tried to copy this guy over the years?

People might not like SFU (their new stuff is good, fuck you), but respect the man. He did a lot for this type of vocal style.
