Well that and a lot of influence from the cultural juggernaut of hip hop.
 
Eh, I still have a soft spot for KoЯn. Of all the little bit of nu metal I used to listen to, KoЯn is the only one that's still on my library and still gets a listen.

I even enjoy their newer (not as good) albums. They're not close to being metal, but I can appreciate what they are. :devil: Sue me.
 
I had a strange Korn phase around 3 years ago, was never quite sure why but found it strangley likeable...their earlier albums anyway (first 2 mainly, especially the second one), I've never liked anything they've done in the last several years

I never really had a problem with kid rock's goofy shit. Maybe it's because where I live/grew up is bordering on the south but he wasnt nearly as offensive as some of the other stuff in this thread.
