Wow 3 members leave DREAMSCAPE!

Haha...to say that Mustaine has had a few guitarists is like saying...well...

...that Jorn Lande has been in a few bands...ha!

It's dumb, I know...just couldn't resist...

I still think it's funny that he got kicked out of Metallica for drinking too much. That's always been the funniest joke in metal to me. You've really got to work to drink THAT much...

Rock on!

John, we are glad that you found this from somewhere else and did not just "BLAB" it. The band has kept this a secret for sometime. Dreamscape's "5th Season" is their last in obligations with Massacre Records. While the band is moving into new territories, www.cdinzane.com will remain their North & South America fanclub for all their shirts and cds. The prices will remain better than you will find elsewhere. We also encourage those into recording to visit www.dreamscape-studios.de as Jan has a massive studio able to handle all mixing, editing, protools/cakewalk/q-base recording. Many don't know but Jan has mixed most of the latest Dreamscape releases...

I can't imagine Dreamscape without Benno and Jan. Roland made such a great addition to the band as well! I now consider myself that much more fortunate for seeing them twice when I had the chance. I hope this turns out to be something like an Angra/Shaman deal, where we end up getting to kick-ass bands out of it.

Stay metal. Never rust.
Met-Al

People said similar with Masterplan. But their last album is awesome.

Yes, I am in mourning, ......I will support them ALL, great friends, great guys, AND THEY FUCKING ROCK!!!!!!!!!

After speaking with Roland I feel a little more at ease with tthis situation. As stated it is amicable and far from bitter, this had been decided during the recording the new cd and the guys are truly great friends and will remain so. Musical differences are common these days and sometimes fatal to bands. But you have not heard the last of Rolands voice AND I'm pretty positive the new Dreamscape singer will not disappoint us.

hi this is wolfgang from dreamscape,
the hole situation is a little bit weird, but we are all still good friends. responsible for the decision is the fact that some of us have no longer the time to work hard on the music. to me and michael it was not enough to make every 4 years a new cd. and since two years we were not able to practice one time in a week. thats not enough to make good music and give good concerts and thats not enough to be a good progmetal band. so there was a fork - 1: to let dreamscape die or 2: to move on with new energy and new musicians with the same aims. for sure: we know for some fans of us it will become very hard to accept that. but you can prove us: in 2008 we will release the 6th album and a live dvd. at the moment we are practicing with the new line up. and we have written about 4 songs. a complete new song will be on the hp and there will be a video to present you the new line up... so we are very busy!
best regards!

Good to hear, Wolfgang. Nice to see you carrying on. Look forward to the new lineup, as well as the new material:headbang:

Just tell me Hubi is back!!! Thats all i need to hear. I'm sure that's not the case, but whoever ends up fronting your great band Wolfgang will surely have some big shoes to fill. Look forward to finding out who it is. Good luck

no sorry - hubi is not the new singer at dreamscape but i asked him and although he was my witness he declined. we are still good friends and to play guitar on his new album is a honor to me. in the future we will do something together but not at dreamscape. and don't think our new singer is the second choice! he is briliant and his voice fits perfect to our sound! perhaps he push us more to metal, but without screaming the cat to death :)) !
best regards!

...and the moral of this story is:

enjoy your favorite bands in the now, because it's a safe bet things won't remain the same with them. It seems that lineup changes are a guarantee.

Words to live by. :erk:

Wow, this is a shock for sure. I heard there was going to be a change, but didn't know it would be this drastic. At least it's encouraging to here Dreamscape is moving forward. All the best to everyone and I hope just even more good things come of it.
