People wouldn't notice that it doesn't actually say that the product was featured on those channels?

Probably not as much as they wouldn't notice the sentence at the bottom that says they're not affiliated with any of those channels, haha.

I get the wierdest spam sometimes... sometimes I wonder how can anyone be that dumb... ALSO: giving one of my relatives my email address was the biggest mistake ever...
She is in her 50s and doesn't know how to work with an email... she forwards me all those DUMB "FWRD" emails... you know what I mean... "forward this and your wish will come true"
or: just a little emails for true friends, forward this to 6 good friends" ARRGGHHHH!!!!!

I used to work for yahoo and let me tell you there are ALOT of people who believe those phising emails.

Those thigns have been around since 1998. They are used by kids on yahoo who like to call themselves "hackers". They used peoples accounts to try and control the yahoo chat rooms by using what the call BOT programs.

Yahoo has implemented many resolutions to this but they have all failed. We made thousands of suggestions of allowing room users to moderate their own chats to avoid this, but they didnt listen.

Its part of the reason I left Yahoo, Things like this created so much work for the I.T. staff we were extremely overworked. Especially in the New York Data center where the chat rooms were hosted.

Yay new spam

Do you guys remember "back in the day" the toy-hacking?
like Netbus or all of those? When you attach a "file" to a JPEG and then the person who gets it "opens his computer" for you to mess with it?
who remembers that raise their hands now!!!

:D
