I like the power metal that stands out. I really like Iced Earth (barlow era, of course), Helloween, Dio (yes, I count him as power metal. in fact, he and helloween kinda started power metal).

All of my friends got together and picked some finnish pm band to fanboy over, something called firewind. They have one fucking awesome song, and the rest of it's crap. The good song has one of the most awesome intros ever. It's called kill to live, if you want to check it out.
