I can't believe this!
So my sister wanted to go into Hot Topic today, and I reluctantly went along with her. I saw they had a small collection of vinyl albums in the back of the store so I started to browse through them and behold!... two copies of the first edition of Blackwater Park on vinyl! I don't even have a record player but I NEEDED to get it! They also had two copies of Damnation on vinyl, which I didn't even know they made. I know it's the first edition because the date on the album is 2001 not 2008.
Only at a place like Hot Topic would those not already been sold. I was so lucky!
Yay! Now I need a record player...

are you sure its the original? because the new ones also have the original date. you can tell if damnation is the old one as its not gatefold, one disc only, and the old blackwater park has a different inside in the gatefold, its a long(horizontaly) shot of the band. either way very nice find . i have to do all my shopping online

I just got BWP. I didn't really look at the Damnation one. They also had a copy of Watershed on Vinyl.

It's a shop that sells "alternative" music and clothes. It's a really annoying store that's filled with emos and "posers" but they sell some good cds at mine and some cool shirts too. I've bought an Opeth shirt, a Meshuggah shirt, and a Tool shirt from them. I'd MUCH rather buy from a music store though.
