Wreath derives melody from King Crimson -- cool

Just made this cool discovery. I'm just getting into King Crimson. First, listen to the opening/main melody of "Court of the Crimson King (Including...)". Then, go to Wreath, the first melody lead after the opening heavy part. Virtually identical.

Of course, you all probably all know this & I sound lke an ass, but indulge me please.
 
I've listened to some more -- The first few notes of ""Wreath"''s melody move down the scale, while K Crimson stays on one note, and then the two pairs of descending notes mirror each other exactly and form an identical central melodic hook, and then the two phrases resolve themselves with a different melody line but with a similiar feel. Neato. :cool:
