Oh well there you go. I don't like Sacramentum either, but the rest of those albums are gems, except perhaps Transilvanian Hunger which isn't bad by any means but I don't see it as Darkthrone's best of their black metal.

I don't think In the Nightside Eclipse is that well liked around here. Ever since Old Wainds mentioned some voting this board did for the best death metal albums, I located the rest of the threads for other genres. This was the result for top 10 black metal and it didn't make it.

Far Away from the Sun is actually probably my favourite from that list. Very few albums impact me emotionally as much as that one.

It is a great list, though, but seems to be missing some Graveland.

That's probably the reason why none made it to the final - everyone voting for different albums. I'd go with Thousand Swords personally, but I'd be happy with any of the first 3-4 making it.
