So... I'm listening to some mix cd i burned for myself 6 months ago, and I have NO IDEA what most of the songs are. Does this happen to anyone else? Like i never fuckin heard them before!

Hmmm not that I recall. Closest thing for me, is burning a cd and not labeling the band on the cd. Then trying to remember what band it is.

On an unrelated note. Does everyone here keep a "to buy list"? I just did a tally, and it's not as bad as I thought. My list is only up to 121 albums waiting to be purchased. Now all I need is a good 1700-1800 extra dinards rolling around in my pocket..How big is everyone's list? Or do you guys just buy 20 cds a day?

ditto, and i don't always keep it updated either when i find new stuff....and on top of that there's plenty of stuff i want that i haven't added to it (case in point, the other day i bought "like an everflowing stream" despite having 50+ albums on my list)

Yea... My list is basically my online list. When I wind up in a record store, I rarely end up buying what I planned on.
