The name Saxon I see everywhere. During watching a footballgame on Tv or in real, I often see this marketingshields with 'Saxon' on it. I think alot of you have seen these things or not? Of course you have to be careful that you dont go to the wrong concert, but we all have eyes in our skulls, or not? In fact I must laugh about it .. dont worry too much about it...see on this messageboard.. you know what I mean..

i just came back from the uk - i joined a live-percussion-gig of them ! 
look at the great poster:
at the entrance we all got something for free:
they are REALLY the most well known dudes there ! it was GREAT !
they had a special guest tonight:
the fans went like crazy:
here is the setlist they played:

had done a few Saxon searches on torrent sites and they (i guess was them) had showed up, actually downloaded one of thier sets once, my wife and i to this day swear we imagined the whole horrible but very amusing experience!

"Ride like the wind" originally is Christoper Cross' song. Saxon covered it 10 or 11 years later. I love both versions. There's just one thing about CC's version - it still reminds me of myself being a little girl (about 11 years old) ... finally being "allowed" to watch a German music show called "Musik Laden" on TV ! A long time ago ...
