and yes, i did read OZ's reamp sticky. my eyes are blurry. took me two days and copious amounts of coffee!! i didn't see this question addressed, or maybe missed it, or maybe it was so stupid nobody asked. anyway please be gentle.
ok - here goes. i'm in the final mixing stages of a new CD. 10 songs, everything recorded. problem is, i'm kicking my ass for not reading more about reamping BEFORE i recorded everything using my PodXt without a dry signal. everything was recorded using the POD's cabs, etc.
anyway - i don't suppose there's any great new little box out there that would allow me to reverse engineer the "wet" signal back into a dry signal so it could be sent off for reamping, is there? i am using impulses now in my DAW, but would love the opportunity to have a real tube sound.
i don't know, maybe this is a really stupid question, just trying to think outside the box. i'd shoot myself if i released this material just to find out down the road there was a way to do this.
if anybody can set me straight on this, i'd greatly appeciate it.
