Yet Another Rob Interview

Why are the three questions about politics and two about music? I don't think that many people care of musicians' opinions on politics.

I think they do that just to be provocative, to get them to say stuff like Rob said, "Bush should have killed himself in 1978". It's provocative and that's all. I guess they figure not enough people care about Anthrax, or something.

Interesting that he said "I think it was time for me to move on anyway"

So much for "still in the Anthrax family", "Rob isn't going anywhere", etc etc

"They decided that they wanted to do a re-union tour with the Among The Living line up. I think that pretty much sums everything up in a
nutshell. I don't think what they're doing right now is smart by any stretch of the imagination but I do wish them luck. I think by doing this,
they lost the respect of a lot of the fans that stuck by them over the years; me being one of them! I think it was time for me to move on
anyway.. I have too much great stuff going on for me right now to be reliving 1985"

rob tells it like it is.
going by rob's and bush's interviews i can safely bet that they are no longer "part of the anthrax family".
sooo i would make an educated guess that joey and dan will be on the next record.
UNLESS they get an entirely new singer and guitarist...!!

hehe who knows, but I am also betting on the reunion lineup. But...if it was like that, why wouldn't they say it?

reading these two interviews ive lost a lot of respect for rob. he is only highlighting negatives. he says "re living 1985" well fuck that im 21 and love the old school stuff and was delighted to see the old and best libe up. It may be songs from the 80's but the still carry well and have not aged one bit like some other thrash bands.

I don't know. It sounds like they "had" to do the reunion and now that Rob and John are pissed they are kind of left with whatever.

Wonder if Scott will end up kicking himself for saying they were gonna work on the follow up to WCFYA that "WILL be made." The re-union is cool and all, but you gotta understand this guys point of view. It's like getting kicked out of your house and then being interviewed about how you feel about your parents. Of course you love them, but there is bitterness.

There is something I agree with you on...
