They have this weird anthemic style coming across in the last few albums.
It's weird. hard to explain.

Well, it sounds like I'll POSSIBLY like the CD, but her voice is peculiar to me. I'm glad Mike and his brother put a little work into this cd.

it doesn't really sound like devildriver to me, but the chorus is kinda cheesy. The riffs are pretty good though and the soloing isn't too bad. I'm wondering why Angela's voice sounds double tracked or pro tool'd.

Ok then. The riffs aren't bad, but the choral lines are kinda silly. Her vocal effects ARE overdone... but I may like it ok. Better than AoR was so far.

This song is boring. Personally I agree with EVERLOSTINDEADETERNITY, their sound was much cooler back on Burning Bridges (my fave). Angela's voice is really boring and the effects on it are overused. There are just not enough distinctive growlers in metal like John Tardy from Obituary. That dude is second to no one. This Arch Enemy disc will sell a ton and if this is any indication of how the album will be, then I won't buy it. Hell, I didn't buy the last one either. Blah......

i think its better than most of the stuff on AoR, but why the hell are they distributing it as a WMA? wtf.
just send it out as an mp3 like you do everything else.
oh no i can't burn it to a CD, better convert it to a wav file then mp3. what shall i ever do!

as for the song i hate the effects on her voice. i hated the original male singer, he was horrible.
their best album was Wages of Sin, but even that had enough vocal effects to annoy me.
overall i think they are overrated lately. sure their music is good, but its also a bit cliche. its typical thrash/death sound.
Angela has a good growl, they should let it be heard without effects more.
