Nup sorry... but I can try to give you information if you want haha.
Tonight: Anarion, Battalion, Sanity's Cage at Edward's Tavern.
Tomorrow: Thunderstruck at Edward's Tavern, last gig ever there.
Next Friday: Kiss expo at The Corner Hotel with Bruce Kulick playing a live Kiss set.
February 23: Vanishing Point (back from Euro tour with Gamma Ray), Anarion, Kymera, Chalice, Enter Twilight at The Espy.
And I know for sure that a European power metal band is coming out soon and one of the above bands is supporting them.
It hasn't been let out of the bag which band is coming out though... and the above bands are competing in who can sell the most tickets to the metalfest to win the support slot. Its organised by Metal Warriors.
Just a bit of a tip too.... Blind Guardian and Gamma Ray are both likely to be this Euro band coming out.

Hmmm Ive heard murmurs it might be Blind Guardian............. But Gamma Ray would be more obvious if VP have been chatting with them... Either way, it kicks ass!

I think I remember hearing a rumour about Gamma Ray coming out way back in 98 or 99... I'm not really a fan, but it would be cool for a European band to be able to come down here and do a successful tour. Might pave the way for more of the same sort of thing.
As for Coops initial question - I dunno either, but they SHOULD be posting in the Aussie scene forum here at Ultimate Metal, right?

Hehe it would rock if it was one of those 2 but really it could be anybody, those 2 seem the most likely though because Hansi has been saying they are gonna tour here, and Dirk from Gammaray was here a couple of months ago and friends with Vanishing Point.
Whatever happens though... it is 100% certain that a Euro band will be touring coz its all organised and the bands playing on the 23rd are competing for the support slot.

Keeping your cards close to your chest is admirable, Troopy. But I'm intrigued... who's organising it? If it is who I think it is, they have been promising a Gamma Ray tour for years now...

Chalice are the 2nd top billed band, followed by Kymera, Enter Twilight, Anarion, Battalion.
Steve Ravic and Metal Warriors are organizing the metalfest and the competition to see who gets the support slot, so I'm assuming they are also organizing the tour.
They also organized Vanishing Point's European tour with Gammaray last year. So maybe hehe.
