Finally bought this on DVD and never laughed so hard in my life. I like even more than Blazing Saddles (which was my previous #1 comedy). any thoughts? Long live Eyegor!

One of my favorite movies of all time!

This scene cracks me up everytime! The line-delivery is excellent.

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Igor, would you mind telling me whose brain I did put in?
Igor: And you won't be angry?
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: I will NOT be angry.
Igor: Abby someone.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Abby someone. Abby who?
Igor: Abby Normal.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Abby Normal?
Igor: I'm almost sure that was the name.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Are you saying that I put an abnormal brain into a seven and a half foot long, fifty-four inch wide GORILLA?
[shakes and grabs him]
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE TELLING ME?

My favorite quote:
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: For what we are about to see next, we must enter quietly into the realm of genius.

One of my favorite scenes is in the very beginning. When Gene Wilders character arrives at the Transylvania train station. Igor (Eyegor) picks him up and says "Walk THIS Way". That was priceless.

Mel Brooks seems to like that joke himself. It's also used in History of the World Part 1. Which, if you haven't seen, you should get on that right away. My personal favorite. The male guard selection scene with Madeline Kahn is simply brilliant. Sadly it was butchered by Ashlee Simpson not too long ago.

Favorite Mel Brooks line of all time.

PUU'INN OOON AAAH RIIIIIIIII!!!

Great Movie...

I like when the Horses start their whinnying every time Frau Blucher's name is spoken... HAHAHA!!

Or Frankenstein looking at the door and saying "My What Knockers!" The Terri Garr says "Why sank you doctor!"

I believe he also used that joke in Robin Hood: Men In Tights. Blazing Saddles will ALWAYS be my favorite Mel Brooks movie if not my favorite comedy of all time, but Young Frankenstein is still fucking golden.

Well, better late to the party than totally missing out. ;) I love this movie, always have. Total classic from beginning to end, and definitely my favorite Mel Brooks flick (although Blazing Saddles is a darn close 2nd).

I have to admit I've never seen neither Young Frankenstien nor Blazing Saddles, but my interest is peaked.

Hey, I've only seen them in the last 6 months so don't feel bad. Do yourself a favor though, check out the below short clip. If you think that is funny you will love the movie. If not, its not for you. This is my favorite scene.
